Ray Pickett - CEO

I’m Ray, and I’m passionate about the positive difference that education and technology create for individuals, businesses, and communities.
Since 2019, I have served as CEO of Enform NZ Ltd and the Activate Education Group Ltd, while also continuing to bring strategic leadership to the boards and organisations that I chair and serve on. I have held senior leadership and governance positions across a range of industries, including: Technology, Medicine, Construction, Investments, and Start-Ups, seeing transformational results through the implementation of solid systems and processes. I understand the value of building connections and relationships with stakeholders, to work in partnership with the exceptional teams I have had the pleasure to lead.
The Enform team is passionate, highly skilled, and solutions focused to develop innovative outcomes for clients. It’s inspiring working with such a talented and committed team.
I have a BSc (Mathematics) from Massey University, and light up when I have a whiteboard, a marker, and a math problem to solve!
Pieter Du Plessis - General Manager
With more than 20 years of commercial experience in industries such as medical devices, wholesale fuel, steel construction to name a few, I have seen and experienced the importance of having up to date systems and technology that is supported by an exceptional team of ICT gurus. Under the leadership of the best leaders in the market that I have had the pleasure of working for, my philosophy came about that systems/technology should work for you and not you work for systems/technology. I believe in an 80/20 principle: 80% of your time should be analysing and managing the results from the 20% of your time working for systems/technology.
Phillip Steel - Senior Systems Architect & Technical Lead
I am a Senior Solutions Architect and Technical Lead based in New Zealand with 20+ years of experience in IT. I design and implement complex technical solutions that meet my clients' needs, staying up to date with the latest technologies. I lead the technical team, work with clients to develop efficient and scalable solutions, and manage day-to-day operations of the team. I provide mentorship to junior team members and am dedicated to delivering the best outcomes for my clients, known for my technical expertise and problem-solving skills.

My name is Yogesh Mathkar. I started my journey in New Zealand as a 20 year old international student in 2006 studying a Post Graduate Diploma in Management. Over the past 2 decades, I have worked in different capacities in various sectors such as Vocational Education & Quality Assurance in Private Training Establishments, Hospitality and Retail Management with some world renowned brands like InterContinental Hotels Group, SKYCITY Entertainment Group to name a few; now working as the Client Liaison and Business Developer for Enform Technology Solutions. I grew up in the “City that Never Sleeps”- Mumbai. I enjoy being outdoors and I am actively involved in cricket and whiskey club in Hamilton. Just got voted as “The Best Dad in the world” by my older son.
Josh Kent - Developer
I'm a passionate individual with a life’s long interest in technology, specializing in software. I have a general interest in business progression and have worked with numerous individuals and companies on a span of different projects. My knowledge in technology constantly growing, currently spanning a number of different programming languages, from functional to objected-oriented languages. Furthermore, I enjoy connecting with others and building strong relationships, benefiting and growing us personally and professionally. I look forward to connecting with you and furthering your business interests.
Hayden Ferries - Developer
As a new member of the Enform NZ team, I'm excited to work alongside other skilled professionals to help our clients achieve their business objectives through technology solutions. With a passion for technology, I am constantly seeking out new challenges to help me grow as a programmer. Collaboration is at the heart of our approach, and I'm committed to contributing my skills and experience to support the team. When I'm not coding, I enjoy spending time with my wife, playing video games, and taking care of my chickens.

Gillian Scherman - Finance
Hi, my name is Gillian Scherman, I am the Assistant Accountant for Enform. I have more than 15 years’ experience in various accounts roles. I am a friendly and passionate person who enjoys learning new things and a good challenge is something I thrive on.
I am married with three grown children. My family and I immigrated to New Zealand in 2018 from South Africa.
My hobbies include, reading, crafts and spending time with my family!
